Champagne Lacuisse Frères
House
The farm, created by Julien LACUISSE and his sons, reaches today a surface of 17 hectares distributed on the slopes "premier cru" of Sermiers, in full heart of the mountain of Reims.
Our basement is composed mainly of marls, clay and siliceous sands which distinguish it from other parts of the vineyard and make it typical.
Our vineyard is composed of 70% Pinot Meunier, 15% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay.
Attentive to the heritage that nature has given us, we have changed our viticultural practices for many years and are certified Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne (VDC) and High Environmental Value (HVE).
We no longer use insecticides, limit fungicide and herbicide treatments. Instead, we do mechanical work of the soil, Let’s practice grassing between rows, leaf stripping and sexual confusion. We collect our washing water, sort our waste and have it recycled.
Our champagnes are as natural as possible because we have not added bisulphite during disgorgement for 10 years. We do not add sugar during disgorgement, to our champagnes of our Premium Nature collection, since 5 years for some cuvées. This allows them to express all the delicate minerality of Champagne. All our champagnes benefit from a long aging in cellar to offer you wines whose complexity will delight your palets (minimum 4 years).
We welcome you with pleasure, from 9h to 17h from Monday to Friday and the weekend by appointment.
